BAY OF PLENTY PIC COUNCIL
ANNUAL MEETING- TO-DAY The annual meeting of the Bay of -Plenty District Pig Council is being held at Wliakatane to-day. Delegates and members froim pig clubs in the Bay of Plenty area from Rotorua, Kati Katil and as far south as To Kahn are attending. Mr. S. M. Jephson is representing the Opotiki area and Mr. I). G. Beattie, who is a co-opted member of the- District. Council, having at one period filled the position oi district supervisor, is also attending. The agenda is a. very lengthy one, many remits from clubs in the area coming forward for discussion: ■ .Mr. H. H. Peirson, Advisory Officer, Department of Agriculture, is to be present.
