INTER-HOUSE TOURNAMENT WON BY “GENTLEMEN” An inter-house howling tournament was held on the Opotiki Bowling Club’s green yesterday under ideal weather conditions : - The following teams took part:— Moody, Reece, Brownie, Short (Spare Parts). •Clark, Be Lautour, Heel ley, Jamieson (Clow" Cookie's). Fisher, Burnett, Burton, Burrett (Power Board). Parkinson, Henderson, J. T. ’Jabb, C. Tabb (Butchers). Craig. Cave, Griffiths,' Frew (R.S. A.)' V , ' ' Wilson, Smith, Creagh, Kidd ('Gentlemen). Webb, Payne, Mansell, Stuart (Civil Servants). Shaw, De.breceny, Crawfcrd, Borrie (Drivers). Connor, Beattie, Jeplison. Stevens (Squatters). The results of the games were : Short. 3 wins 2 losses. Jamieson 2 wins 3 losses. Burrett 3 wins 2 losses. Tabb 1 win 4 losses. Frew ........ 3 wins 2 losses. Kidd 5 wins 2 losses. Stuart 3 wins 3 louses. Borrie 3 wins 2 : losses.
