TWO MAORIS REMANDED APPEAR ANCIE! BEFORE JUSTICE A charge of being found in charge of a. motor-car in Alain Street on April 15, while in a state of intoxication, was brought against Brownie komemene, of Tokomaru Bay, at the Opotiki Police Court this morning, before Air. O. Pipe, J.P. Accused was remanded toi appear at the Magistrate’s Court to-morrow. Taylor Tai, of AYaioeka. was charged with stealing, on April 15, a pair of gent’s trousers, valued at 10/-, the property of Eldward King. Defendant was further charged with procuring liquor during the currency of a prohibition order. Defendant was remandled toi appear before the Alagistrate’s Court to-morrow.
