A Fighting Mascot.

During a soccer match in Hampshire, England, one. of the Hampshire players had to be carried off. He wasracing, down the field when a ram which had been, watching him for some time suddenly lowered his head ail’d rammed him through the goalposts minus the ball. The ram then went for the referee who climbed a tree. The ram was finally rounded up, the referee came down the tree, but the rammed player was unable toreturn. The ram was the mascot of tlie visiting l team.
