priniAry schools association ANNUAL • MEETING Tjlie annual meeting of the Opotiki Primary Schools’ Football Association, .which was held recently in the Opotiki District High School, was a very enthusiastic one, th© meeting being presided over *by the president, Mr. do Montalk, The following officers were elected: President, Mr. Lf. Davies. Oh. the .motion of Mk L. Davies, a vote of thanks was accorded Air. G. Ormandy, who has acted as hon. secretary during the past! year. The association is making every effort to encourage primary football and during the season weekly games will be played and also a competition. A team, will lie entered for the annual Bay of Plenty tournament to take place* at Rotorua. A seveu-a-side tournament has been arranged for the opening day, which will take place on the second Saturday after E-aster. The past season .was a very successful, one and it is hoped that there will again be shown the enthusiastic spirit seen throughout the district schools in the coming season.
