FIELD WORK COM P L ET.ED NOTICE TO OWNERS The field work in connection 'witle the revaluations of the Cook and'Opotiki counties lias been completed, and the staff of the; 'Gisborne office is engaged in preparing, to* issue the notices to: the owners advising them of the new values placed on their properties. The officer in charge, Mr. J. !)_ Hutchin, stated last week that it washoped to have the Cook County notices posted by April Id, while the Opotiki County notices should he a~ vailable by the end od : the month. Two officers were engaged in each, of* tlio counties in the execution of the field work. In the Cook County the valuers were Messrs. 15.I 5 . H. Hamilton, Gisborne, and Mr. H.D, de I.au—tour, Wairoa. In the Opotiki County, Mr. W. Graham, Gisborne, did all the work on the eastern sidle of the Waioelca River, while Mr, W. Roberts, Whakatane. carried out the work in the remainder of the area.
