CONGRATULATIONS VOICED LETTER BY E'IRST MAIL ' A letter was received on Monday morning by Mr. AV T. Barrett, president of the Opotiki Chamber of Commerce, by the air-liner- Korimako, from ■Mr. Arnold ' Edy, president of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce. Mr. (Eidy wrote as follows: “We are forwarding this letter by the first air.mail between Opotiki.and Auckland, - and desire to congratulate your Chamber and your district upon this extension of the facilities for communication between you and the rest of the Dominion.

“We licpe that the service will be well patronised both by the residents in your district and by Aucklanders, and that an extension of the frequency of the service will be necessary at an early date.”
