Jan. 10.—The Paris newspaper Le Soil - to-day reported that Annie Ondra, film actress wife of Max Schmeling, had been arrested on •charges of attempting to smuggle currency out of Germany and possibly of espionage. The boxer’s wile, the newspaper reported, decided te leave the Reich and planned to get part of her fortune beyond the border. ‘ “She was about to cross the Irontier on the pretext she was making a private trip to Prague when a Black vShirt guard arrested her.” the newspaper reported;. Sclmieling, former heavyweight boxing champion of the world, is under police surveillance pending further developments in the affair. Lo Soil' added.
