THE OPOTIKI SHOW
GREAT SUCCESS INDICATED KEEN COMPETITION / FAVOURED WITH FINE WEATHER The Opotiki A. and P. Association's 17th. annual show opened to-day in glorious weather conditions and the indications are that to-day’s show will be a record for the district. Entries have come in freely and in some classes there has been a very pleasing increase in competition. With the continued line weather the grounds are in fine condition and the ling is nice and firm and very suitable for the jumping events. Numerous sideshows are in evidence and are receiving the usual patronage.
With the very favourable conditions the attendance by mid-afternoon should reach record proportions. Full particulars of the show with the list of prize-winners will appear in Monday’s issue of the Opotiki News.
