Sister Rucker, N. presided. The feature of the evening was the presentation of it Veterans’ Jewel to Sister Al. .Murray. J’.O., tor valuable services rendered over a f period of over 1, years. After the nicotine visitors were entertained at a banquet in the Tanoatua Hall. The tables were tastefully * arm need in shades' ol pink and gieou ami a beautifully decorated birthday cake adorned the centre table. Ihe cake was cut by Siser Rucker, -N.(<. ; and the usual toasts were honoured. Speeches interspersed -with musical and vocal items contributed to a very enjoyable evening.
