Medical evidence was that Damlyn appeared to have taken an overwhelming dose of arsenic, eight grains, being found in his stomach. The police said that hypodermic needles, jneces of rubber, tubing, medical hooks, and a jar of water containing arsenic were fo\\nd in his room. The coroner, Dr. A. H. MacTaggart, found that death was accidental, as a result- of --the*-- selDnttrniirrstratibni of arsenic on* numerous occasions. There was. no suggestion, said the coroner, that,Damlyn intended to take his own life.' 1 ’
