Candy, of Ilaknia. recently paid a brief visit- to Opotiki when they were the guests of Air. and Mrs. W. J. Thompson and Air. and Mrs. H. H. Newell. Mr. Thompson was formerly on. the local staff of tho .Bank of New Zealand. Air. and Airs. Thompsen and their son will take up their residence in Auckland alter spending a holiday in Blenheim.
