Candy, of Ilaknia. recently paid a brief visit- to Opotiki when they were the guests of Air. and Mrs. W. J. Thompson and Air. and Mrs. H. H. Newell. Hollard and their son Alei vyn, have returned from an enjoyable motor tour of the North Auckland and Waikato districts, whence they motored to Wellington and. were accompanied on their return by Sister Klhleen Hollar-tl rf the Dental Di'pai linent, of the Wellington Public Hospital wlm, will spend a month’s holiday in Opotiki. X X X X X X X The many friends of Mr. and Mrs.. A. S. Thompson, of HelensviUo, will lio interested to hear of Mr. Thompson’s transfer to the Bank of New Zealand, Auckland. Mr. Thompson was formerly on. the local staff of tho .Bank of New Zealand. Air. and Airs. Thompsen and their son will take up their residence in Auckland alter spending a holiday in Blenheim.
