RESULTS OF NIC|HT MEETING ■ There was a lair attendance at the, usual fortnightly meeting held on the reserve on Friday night last. The absence of the children’s events to a certain extent affected the attendance of supporters. There was good competition and the field in the 880 yards event gave a splendid performance, while the time was very good, the scratch man, Ted Upton, being close up to, annex third place. There was a great tussle up the straight with McKenzie doggedly hanging on in front and stalling off Upton’s attempt to gain the lead l . Beattie put in a good finish to annex second place.
