WAIMANA GARDENING CIRCLE A most pleasant day was spent last Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Jerrain, Nukuhou North, when the Gardening Circle members of the Waima-na-Nukuhou Women’s Institute, entertained members of tlie Opotiki Gardening Circle at a picnic. A dainty lunch was enjoyed by all r beneath the shade of weeping willowsLater in the day the members enjoyed a walk through the beautiful, native bush. During afternoon tea, ideas forcompetitions etc. were discussed, and. at tlie conclusion of the day, MrsMerry, on behalf of the visitors, thanked Mrs. Jerram and members, for the pleasant day spent by all and hoped they would be able to come, again.
