HANDLESS ARTIST

CHARACTER SKETCHER Although he has no hands. Brian Wade, of Leeds, is becoming recognised as one of England’s most successful character sketchers. He is planning a cruise, when conditions permit, along Britain’s canals in his lb-loot cabin sail boat to make sketches of scenery and people throughout the country. He has issued a call for an artist partner ior the cruise.

Wade lost one hand at the wrist, the other at the elbow. He paints by holding his brush between his arms. On his cruises he combines art with a good knowledge cf handling, a boat.
