HANDICAPS DECLARED MEETING ON FRIDAY TEAM FOR. GISBORNE The following Opotiki athletes will compete at the *big athletic meeting tu be held at Gisborne on Anniversary Day (Monday) : —E. Wilson, C. Smith, G. Mitchell, B. Anderson, Debreceny, Delamere, Fenton, Inskip, , Hughes, Upton, -McKenzie, Parkinson, JN. Sheeran, Wardlaw, J. Hutt, J. Sheeran, E. Brown, H. Morris E. Stover, MB Storey, B. Vereoe.. Air. J. Shaw will be manager. it has been decided to l send no ladies to Gisborne. A team from Wairoa will also be competing at the meeting. Meeting at Opotiki. The usual fortnightly meeting will be held at Opotiki oil Friday night. It lias been decided on this loecasion to omit the school-children's events, but t-hesei will be resumed when the schools reopen.
