COAST SHEEP SALE LITTLE DEMAND Little demand existed for sheep at.the sale conducted at Tilcitiki on Saturday by Alessrs. Dalgety and Company, acting under instructions from the AYaiapu Farmers’ Co-operative Company. Over 5000 sheep were yarded and a fairly large percentage of the offering was made up of wethers, which came forward in good condition. Two. lines of 2-tooth wethers sold at 11s, but many lots were passed in. The sale attracted a. good attendance of the public and several outsidebuyers were present, including agents from Opotiki and AVairoa, but there was no competition from those districts. The top price for 2-to,oth ewes. 16s 6ch was paid for a line of 94 -sokL on account of Air. H. lvaa, Tikitiki. Ewe values generally ranged as fellows : Two-tooths. 13s Id to 46s Oil ; 6-tootli. 15s-sd; mixed ages, 14s 6d; 5year, m.s., up to 12s; 6-year, up to 9s.
