APPOINTMENT OF OFFICIALS The following officials were appointed at a meeting of the Opotiki Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club, for the sports meeting toi he held on Saturday next:— Manager. Mr. T. Shaw. WUpton, J. Henry (.result steward). Track Judges, Mjessrs. W. Burrctt. W. Stevens, J. Fov senr., E ! . Chote (result steward). , Timekeepers, Messrs. A. S. de Mentally, S. Jephson and T. G. Sheeran. Messenger, Mr. G. Pearson. All officials arc asked to report to tlie manager at 1.10 p.m. on the daw of the sports. Final arrangements will he .made in. connection with the sports andl dan cent a. meeting to be held to-night, wlien. tlie teams for the various events will also he selected. The disqualification of J. Inskip at. the recent Rotorua meeting was discussed by the committee, .and. it was decided to (write to the Rotorua. Club for a full explanation.
