A PLUCKY CiiIPPLE Pedridclt'ii for 25 years, Mir. Hugo Vereeuil has cured himself of a spinal injury by setting up type. Nov.- his favourite pastime is walking. Mr. Veiceuil, when he ‘was 24, hurt his spine while hunting. , Despite expert, attention he lost the power of his legs. In 1924, after 11 years in bed, hestarted a printing business and his bedroom became his workroom. Ho began to .notice an improvement in his. condition. In time his back was completely cured .and soon he could get about without crutches. Now ;ie lias, started life as a farmer at Paarl, Capo Province.
