FATAL SEIZURE IN BUS .FORMER OPOTLKI RESIDENT Taken ill suddenly when returning to Puha, frojn Gisborne on. Thursday afternoon, Mrs. Daisio Rostgard, - aged 50, died'later in the'afternoon jjt her home. The deceased had been in. Gisborne mil dity doing her Christmas shopping, and left Gisborne in the 4 p.m. bus for the country. Mrs, Rostgard was, attended by the district nurse, Miss Jamieson, To Kara ku, and taken, to her home, but failed to recover from the effects of the seizure.

The late Mrs. Itostgard was born in Opotiki and spent most of tier life here. She was in bqsiness in Opotiki for a number <>f yeru J s, and then lived in Fiji and Gisborne.' She conducted a business in Gisbornd for some time. Her health, however,' had not been of the best and she moved to Puha. a short time ago hoping for- an improvement. A. daughter,’ Mrs. W. F. Kennedy, resides m Gisborne, The funeral took place at Gisborne on Saturday.

Four years ago. he entered into partnership with Mr. E. W' i I limns, and conducted a mill for Messrs. Williams and .Pedersen.
