VISIT OF CHIME OF GUIDES A visit was paid to the Opotiki Company of Clivl Guides last night by Miss Ruth Herrick, Chief of Girl Guides of New Zealand. Accompanying Miss Herrick was Mrs. Balfour, Provincial Commissioner for the Poverty Bay, while Airs. Sinton, the District .Commissioner, was also present. The visitors met Die Brownies and the Guides at the Parish Hall, and a very pleasant evening was spent in guide work. , Later in the evening the visitors met the ladies’ local committee and associate members and were entertained to supper. Miss Herrick, expressed complete satisfaction, with the work cl the Guide Brownies.
