REGISTRATION OF CATS
“SCLFTION TO' PROBLEM.” “This society is of the. opinion that the ti.me is opportune lor the Government. to make it compulsory lor all cats to' he registered,” was a motion carried at the annual meeting o! the Wellington Society lor the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Mrs- E. Mf. Hunt said that she and her- sister had taken round a petition asking for the registration of eats, and they had been told that this war; the only solution to the cat problem. By registering cats, hi revenue would he obtained, and this could he used' to deal with unwanted cats.
