Three days before he died. Jit tl.-e age of 89'., lie sent a messafe to afriend at Pulborough, Airs H. E. Dennis, enclosing a list ol their names and asking if she could, trace them. In his will, just published, the names, oi; the former, village children appear as recipients of bequests ranging from £5, to £lO.
