I.—The council oi the British .Medical Association met 10-night, and considered at some length the suggestion that sanction oi Crown Law authorities might be obtained lor an operation to be periermed on a 14-year-old girl alleged to have been the victim of a. criminal assault.

'I ho council decided not to take any action. A man inis already pleaded guilty to a charge in the County (Jourt, and has been committed for sentence at the September sittings ol the Criminal Court.
