WOODLANDS SOCIAL Another of the series of fortnightly social held in the Woodlands Hall, took place om Friday night, the inneVion on this occasion hejng organised by the married ladies. There was a large attendance and the usual happy time was spent by all. A popular '’programme of dances was played by Mr. J. Afannix with extras by Air. T. Davis. During the evening a presentation was made to Miss Jean Maxwell who was celebrating her birthday. A novel presentation was a'so made to Ah’. S. Maxwell, the gilt being in payment. of a wager be bad von recently. A Dutch clog dance contributed by Miss Mavis Harrison, was greatly appreciated. .Monte Carlo dances were won by AIV. and Airs. S. Maxwell and Aliss J. Webb and Air. T. Honncss.v. Aliss A. Patterson was an.noil need as the winner of a competition. The duties of M.C. were in the capable hands of Air. Stavely.
