Other games played on the Citizens’ Club’s , green resulted : Rathie, A. G. Stevenson, Dobreeeny, J. O’Sullivan 27 v. Moody, Mo re 11,. Burnett, Greagli 18H. Parkinson, Whitfield, Manse.h,. Gbatfield 15 v. Connor/ Miller, Maddreu, Griffiths 20. BAY OF PLENTY TOURNAMENT HELD AT TANEATUA A most enjoyable picnic tournament was held at Tancatua during the weekend when rinks frojn Rotorua, To Puke, Whakatane, Taneatua and Opotiki met in competition. Many keen games were played, Whakatane and Opotiki Citizens respectively winning, their sections. The final between teams skipped by Caisley (Whakatane). and Stevens (Opotiki Citizens), was. won by Whakatane after a very close finish. Representatives of the visiting elubs thanked the Taneatua Club for the very fine day’s sport.
