ROADSIDE OPERATION
HOY’S SIGHT SAVED LONDON, Aug. ‘JO.—An unknown woman doctor saved the sight ol a 10-year-old hoy with a roadside operation hy St. Margaret’s bridge, Twickenham, then disappeared. Fred Tierney, of Alnrlow Crescent. Twickenham-, was cycling home Horn work when his cycling rape caught in the wheel. He was thrown ; his lace and an eye were seriously injured. As a crowd gathered a woman got out ol a car and said: ‘‘l’m a doctor. She attended to Fred’s eye, helped him to tile ambulance, and then drove oil'.
