THREE INNINGS OF 86 < GOOD BOWLING PERFORMANCES Two matches were played at the week-end on the Reserve in the Opotiki Cricket Association’s competition. in the Otara-W'oodhuuls game, the latter, hutting first, made 8(5. Davies -Ut and D. Clark 14 being the main scorers. Otaru replied with 125, R. .Manky 28 not out, Warren 15, Harrijnnn 12, Delamere 21, W. Conner II and B. Young 11. being the doublefigure scorers. Woodlands in 'their second innings again made 8(5, D. Clark 23, W Perfect 12 being the main scorers, and the last wicket Jailing just on time.
Otara won on the first innings. In the Town v- Old Collegians game, 'Town batting first made 8(5. d*. Lcndrum MM. Hawkins 10 and S. Sotlieran IL not out. were the main run-getters. Old Collegians in their first innings were all out for 45, W. Medley 1M and Wells 13 being the only ones to make a stand. Town in their second innings declared with eight wickets for 80, Cl. D. Brown 28 declared and R. Lcndrum 15 being the .main scorers. Old Collegians acre all dismissed lor (if) in their second innings, the last wicket falling with the last over of the day. Kururangi 2M, Wells 22 and N. Sheeran 15 were the main scorers. Town scored an outright win. Following the scores:—
