BOXER'S CAR STOLEN

CIOU IN PKONT SEAT NIATCASTLEI, Oct. 24.—A motor car owned by -Mr. Albert Edward Pearce, of Hamilton, who is well known as A! Bnnrke, the former Australian welterweight boxing champion, was stolen from James street, Mamilton, on Friday night. In the ear was :C10() Os 6d in cash hidden in- a chocolate tin on the front seat, and <£7 in a handbag. Last night, a brown paper parcel was thrown on to the front oil' Newcastle West police station. It contained £Bo of the missing money.
