handed to police LONDON, Aug. 29.—Mrs. Gabriellc Eugenie Greg, aged 43, 4 reiicii-born wile of a wealthy* Cheshire soap manulacturer, is again concerned in investigation about a mystery parcel delivered at. her mansion home in Bowden, Cheshire. The parcel, containing a -box cl sweets, was addressed to Jenuilei Greg, Airs. Greg’s six-year-olci udopted daughter-‘Acid-Like Vapour’ When tlie child opened the box it gave off an acid-like vapour, and Mrs. Greg handed the sweets and the wrapper to the police, who are making inquiries. Mr. and Airs. Greg and Jennifer are now oil holiday on the -Continent. A friend <>t the family told me : Ihe parcel was probably sent as a practical joke.” Last June Airs. Greg accused a woman of sending her poisoned chocolates through the post. The charge was dismissed, and in cross-examina-tion Airs. Greg admitted that for three years she had carried on an intrigue with the accused woman s 21-year-old son.
