He will be a successor to that great breeding sire “Brampton Owl Standard” who has lelt so many good' producing daughters and several v.k.c. cows in the course of liis service with the “Tontoa” stud. “Brampton Favaru Standard” is bred from what are considered two of the greatest sires the Jersey world has known in -‘Standard of Onklands” and “Favourite Volunteer”. He is by “Brampton Sonora Standard” whose two eldest daughters now on test promise to make silver medals; and all his daughters arc equally promising. “Brampton Sonora Standard” is by “Standard of Oaklands”., a worldfamous sire, and considered by most Jersey breeders to he the greatest Jersey sire the world has known and from “Sway Sonora”, who has the neck, head, conformation, udder, ud-der-attachment and teats of the ideal Jersey cow and from whom Messrs. Bull and Sons have already used a son. “Sonora Standard” is out of “Brampton Favourite Panola” who has a record of 611 lbs. fat in 305 days (gold and silver medal). She is by “Favourite Volunteer”, who in turn is.by the world-famous “You’ll Do’s Volunteer” who left more first prize winners and all-island champions on Jersey than any other bull. “Favourite Panola” is from “Dairy Panola II”. who was a great brood cow on the island. His pedigree shows numerous prize-winners and heavy producers. Hi- will arrive at Paerata early in December to be mated with a number of the. choice members of the Tontoa. Stud.
