'J he meeting opened with the Women’s Creed after wnicn the minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The full programme winch had been arranged did not allow for much time to discuss business duel only very important matters were dealt with. Pianoiort selections by Airs, oob'nh wore' greatly enjoyed and a guessing competition was won by Airs-. iS. Maxwell. The competition 'for the specimen flower wa s won by Airs. Newth with Airs. Dodgson second and Airs. Burgess'third. Airs. Martin was the winner of the competition for the collection of six bulbs and Mrs. Maxwell was placed second with Airs. Dodgson third. .* In the needlework section, the prize for the embroidered guest towel was won by Airs. Lowe. Airs. McCullough was second and Airs. Hill third. . For an article made from a sugar bag Aliss K. Lambert’s entry gained first prize, Airs. Hoi lard was second and Mjrs. A 1 cC'ullough * third- . Airs. Lowe was the winner of the demon cheese competition. Aflrs. AlcCullough second and Airs. Alaxwell third. A dainty afternoon tea was served by Mrs. McCullough and Airs. Dodgson and the meeting closed with votes of thanks to the hostesses and to the chair, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
