In the final match for the ladies’ senior championship, played on tho Opotiki Golf Links, Mrs* G. Vanstono beat Mrs Carter, over 36 holes. The winner played exceptionally good golf, doing No. 14 in 4, 15 in 3, 16 in 4, to finish at the 17th. with a 5 to take tho game.
