Hilford have returned to Mlount Maunganui after sx>ending a holiday in Opotiki. ******* Mr M. Le Pine is spending a holiday in Auckland. • *** * * * Mrs J. B. Brikmyer left yesterday to sx>end a holiday in Wellington. DANCE * AT OTARA PRESENTATION MADE The last of a series of beginners’ dances organised by the Otara Jrlall committee, was held in the Otara Hall on Monday evening. There was a large, attendance and a happy evening was spent by all. During the evening Mr Savage senr- was presented with a reading lamp and Mr Savage jttnr. with a cigarette-holder in appreciation of the music they had supplied throughout the season. Air Savage thanked ah present for the handsome gifts and exoressed the hope that he would again be able to assist next season. Novelty (lances were won by Miss J. Jessup and partner, Aliss E. Abbot and partner and Aliss C. Edwardson and partner.
