OPOTIKI CATTLE FAIR keen competition Messrs Dalgoty and Company Ltd. report having held their annual spring cattle fair at Opotiki on Thursday when an entry of UUO station cattle were penned. There was a good representative attendance with outside buyers present iiojn King Country and Waikato. There was a small entry of beef which sold under keen competition. Grown cattle formed a small portion of the voiding and sold under keen competition at ruling rates. All classes of young cattle »were lacking condition owing to the prolonged winter hut a line showing quality were subject to keen competition and here again realised values generally ruling. \\ ith the exception of'two lines the .whole entiy was disposed ol under the hainniei.
