ROBBED WHILE SHAVING

guest house incident SYDNEY, Aug. S. Air Stewart Coombes, of Broken Hill, one. of the delegates to the Miners’ Federation National Convention, was robbed yesterday.

Mr Coontbes was staying at a city guest, house, and when he was shaving in the bathroom a stranger entered and asked him if he had been kept awake all night by a drunken reveller.

The thief had left his watch and lOd on the dressing table. Mr Coombes said' that if tlie thief returned to him his return railway ticket to .Broken Hill and his other private papers, lie could keep the £3. “I am willing to forfeit this as the price of my experience,” lie said.
