GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS, SEN roll TO G. FOX A. BURTON . WINS JUNIOR The final of the senior championship was played on the Opotiki Golf Links yesterday. Particular interest attached to the senior championship as the finalists were brothers, Alessrs P. and G. Fox. After a very keenly contested match, G. Fox ran out the winner 2 up and 1 to play. In the junior championship, H. Ash beat A. G. Burton, 3 and 2. The weather was fine for the championships but conditions became gusty in the afternoon.

LADIES’ COMPETITION DRAW. FOR WEDNESDAY The ladies’ competition on the Opotiki Golf Links on Wednesday will be a 4-hall best-ball bogey game, starting on No. 1 green. The draw is as follows : Airs Kidd and Airs Do Lautour v. Mira Bridger and Aliss Reece. Airs Davies and Aliss O’Reilly v. Airs Vanstone and Aliss McLean. Airs Fetch and Airs Bryant v. Aliss Gordon and Airs Gordon. Airs Carter and Alt's Alum's v. Aliss Hollard and Airs AllcC'aldon.
