Shipping,. The Ot-imai left Opotiki yesterday for Opotikip Mr. Sullivan at waiotahi. A very successful meeting was Isold by the National Party candidate, Mr. W, Sullivan at Waiotahi on Monday night, when there was si good attendance of district- electors. Temperatures. Temperatures in tlio Pay of Plenty were considerably below those registered on the. other side of the ranges at 9 a.m. yesterday. East -Gape and Gisborne registered 65 degrees, and Napier .61. Opotiki was well below the Gisborne figure, only registering 58 degrees.
