WHAKATANE CATTLE FAIR

Messrs Dalgcty and Co. Ltd. report having held their spring cattle lair at \\ liakatane on Monday when the lullv advertised numbers came forward : the quality showing an improvement on that of last'year. A noticeable leaflire was the large decrease in the proportion of grown cattle. Buyers were in attendance from the "Waikato. Auckland, and North Auckland districts-

Competition was very keen for all grown cattle carrying $ condition, also yearlings of both sexes; whilst all other classes sold under keen competition at rates .fully up to vendors expectations.
