SATURDAY’S COMPETITION A flag competition was played at the Opotiki golf links on Saturday afternoon. The game was won by J. Morgan, who carried his Hag to within 10i feet of the 19th hole with two. strokes to spare. A medal competition played in 'conjunction with the flag competition resulted in the following best scores : D. Clark, 85—15—70. Reeves 93 —23 —70. Bunkall 85 —15—70. P. Fox 79—7—72. 1 Cullen 78—6—72.
