UNITY OF CHURCHES

MEETING IN PARISH HALL A well attended meeting of Church of England members was. held in the Parish Hall on Monday evening last to discuss unity in Churches and. to get the laymen’s point of view. The scheme was outlined by the Rev. C. G. G. Salt, after which members spoke, and all were in sympathy with tlte movement. At the conclusion it was decided to hold another meeting on Monday, October 3. and to invite the clergy and laymen of all other denominations to attend and in the meantime the Vicar promised to get further inforniation on the matter.
