DOC BITE KILLS WOMAN

SEPTIC INFECTION FOLLOWS LONDON, June 29. —Bitten in the right- arm by an Alsatian dog as she went to pat it, Mrs Jennie Jones, 47, of Litherland Park, Liverpool, said nothing about- it for some time. She did not wish to alarm her family.' Mrs Jones died in hospital from broncho-pcmimonia following septic infection. At the inquest at Liverpool, a verdict of “Death from misadventure” was recorded. The dog’s owner said it had since been destroyed.
