AN EXCITING DAY -T & Kl Li,ST ‘‘KILL” OK SKA SON A most exciting day’s sport was enjoyed I»y followers ol the Opotiki Hunt Cluii at the meet held at 'tablelands cm Saturday. The weather was ideal and the day way thoroughly enjoyed by both lollewers and spectators in the delightful sm roundings. The usual properties at Tablelands were hunted and alter several very exciting runs, when excellent jumping was witnessed, great excitement Wits shown when one particularly good run ended in it kill. The enthusiasm ol the followers toi he “in at the kill” gave them an exhilarating chase. A dainty afternoon tea was served by the ladies at Hr I*. A\ . Reid’s homestead, when the ReputyAlaster, Hr R. A. Medley, took the opportunity of thanking Hr Reid and the property owners for their courtesy. Hr Medley said how pleasing it was to see such enthusiasm among the members, and .stressed the importance of all attending the meet. Air K. \Y. Reid assured Mfr Medley and all present of a warm welcome at all times.
