REALISTLC DEiMONSTB ATIOX LONDON. May 30.—The Mayor of Wimbledon was slightly ga-ssed during a demonstration of air-raid precautions at Wimbledon. He had been given a faulty mask., The Mayor was attending a final examination of 'Wimbledon’s air-raid wardens, and he led the men through a gas-filled chamber. When, he came out it was found that he had tears in his eyes. Otherwise he was little the worse for his experience.
