HARDLEY OUR AVON BA’ ' W AIM AN A Competitions for the highest grade export hotter and cheese graded in Auckland between August 1, 1987. and June 30, 1938, resulted in the" success of two previous winners. The AA'eddel Cup for butter, one of the
highest awards in New Zealand, was won by Mr I*. S. Halligan, manager of the Rodney Co-operative Dairy Company, of AA'arkworth, for tlie
third successive year. He had an average of 94.687 points for the year, thus establishing a record for the competition, instituted: in 1907. The Hardlev Cup, an important cheese competition, was secured by Mr I’. Barr, manager of the AVaimail a Co-operative Dairy Company, of AVaimana. with an average of 9-.215 points for the year. Mr Barr also won the cup last year.
