SATURDAY’S JUNIOR MATCHES REP. TEAMS .CHOSEN No senior matches will he-played in Opotiki on Saturday next, owing to two teams playing outside matches. 'Hie Whakatohea tribal team will play Apamii Maoris on the Coast, while another Opotiki team will journey to Matawai on the same day to meet the Motu Sub-Union’s team. The junior matches will be played on the reserve, the games being: Waioeka v. Torero at 1 .'JO p.m. and O.Mi.P. v. H.S. at J p.m.

The-'team to represent- the Whakatoliea representatives to play tor the Ratana -Cup at Omaio will ho selected from the following:— J. Walker. K. Delaniere, C. Walker. S. Apanui. J. Mihaere, G. Williams,/]’. Walker, At. Delaniere, A. Tairua. F. AlcLaughlan. W. i’bihipi, W. Delaniere. I. Walker. C. Andrews, .A. Watene, H. Lingman. M. Taka. D. Andrews, H. Oakes. H. Walker. The following players have been selected to play at Alatawai on Saturday next-: H. Tiollis. P. To Kani, J. Starkey, S. Welsh, R. Jones. R. Hnnia, AlcDonald. K. Fleming, Alatehett. Ashdown. MeQninn, 'Uollins (2), Poitoi, Ruff,' H. O’Connell, Thompson, Pirilii, N. Shalloon. Any of the above players unable to travel, are requested to notify the selector as early as possible.
