EARL’S DIVORCE DECREE
SUIT UNDEFENDED - Y-’ ■■■.- INFIDELITY OF WIFE LONDON, Feb. 16.—The Earl of Warwick was granted a. decree nisi by Mr Justice H'ua&orf "Jin the Divorce Oourt yesterday-. 'His petition tor divorce was undefended. The earl, Charles Guy Fulke ‘Greville, whose address was given as Warwick, Castle, was married in 1933 to Miss ltose Bingham. ' He petitioned on the ground of her adultery with a Mr Roger Bailey—who. was cited as co-respondent—at Los Angeles in 1936. The case for Lord Warwick was that the marriage was happy until a child was born in 1934. From -'that time his wife’s attitude changed and she appeared to avoid him. Three months after the hoy was born, in May, 1934, she left her husband. They met only on official occasions afterwards. The Countess went to there she stayed some time. Mr J ustice Hudson gave Lord Warwick the custody of the child. To Complete Film Contract. Tlie Earl of Warwick arrived from Hollywood last week for the divorce proceedings. He staled that he planned to return to America to-morrow to complete his him contract with Paramount. Lord Warwick, who will he 27 next month, has acted in lour films, the roles, ho has play.ed including a. secretary iu a detective story and » doctor in a Chinese thriller. He has a part in the film “The Buccaneer,” now showing in London. He acts under the. name of Michael Brooke. Lady, Warwick has made frequent -visits to America, and she spent some time as saleswoman at a dress shop there. She lias recently been on a Swiss winter sports holiday at St. Moritz. She is the daughter of the late Lt? 1). O. Bingham and Lady Rosabellc Brand.
