Many famous people have stories tacked on to them, but, one recently heard concerning Sacha Guitry, the French actor, is claimed as thC genuine article. Guitry stepped recently at an inn in the country, and, wanting some coffee called the servant. “Have you any chicory?” he asked. “Yes, sir,” replied the servant. “How many packets?” asked Guitry. “six.” “Bring them to me,” demanded l Guitry. The astonished servant did as she was hid. “'And that is really all you have?” asked Guitry. “Yes, sir,” replied the maid. “Good,” said Guitry. “Now will you make me. a cup of colfee?” > -
