CAT WEDCED IN DRAIN
RESCUE BY FIREMEN FIRST TIME ON EARTH \ SYDNEY. May 18.—“ Satan,” a Pedigreed Persian cat, lost one of his proverbial nine lives last- night. In doing so, he achieved two distinctions. He turned ont the fire brigade, and, lor 'the first time since he was "born 18 months ago, he set foot on earth.
“Satan” is owned bv INlrs Nerman Thompson, of Ellerslie Flats, Darlinghurst road. He has never been out of the hat. where lie-vias horn, until last night.
