DEATH OF MAORI VERDICT OF HEART-FAILURE An inquest into the death of Mr Patiliori Hohepi, an elderly Maori residing at Torere, was "held before the district coroner, Mr F. J. Short, at Torere last week. Deceased had been shooting pheasants in the morning and when he returned home he collapsed on his knees. He went to bed and at 8 o’clock that night he died. The verdict of the coroner was in accordance with medical evidence, that deceased died of heart failure.
